Your typing skills suggest you could apply for clerical jobs in almost any field. Try city, state, county, and federal job lines. You can visit their offices to see what jobs they have that are not open at the moment, but that you can apply for (if you have the experience) when they do come open.

As for something along the line of another personal attendant job, ask the county and state if they have jobs in that area. In California they have a different name, but the state decides how many hours the disabled person is qualified for each week. Then you do have to find the person who needs the work, but that's another way to go.

Yet another thing to do is go to (or back to) college and apply for student jobs. They are almost always minimum wage jobs, but it's another start. And if you haven't gotten your degree, finish a degree and get some skills that will pay you well.

Well I don't know where you're from but have you tried working with the developmentally disabled. Pay is decent for someone and school and because group homes are open 24-7 work schedules tend to be flexible for students.

They'll hire you. You can probably work as a dentist receptionist also, it's extremely easy.
