thanks for your comments, I haven't started MBA yet,
I like to concentrate fulltime, but going to college and study with students who are atleast 7 years less than my age is little difficult, I donot know if anyone was/is in my boat.
In western there wonot be any problem what age you get study, but in india its difficult i guess

When I was 23 , I had the same doubt. Now, that I am 56 ( and have continued to study all along), I know how incorrect I was! Do not consider yourself a failure just because you have not reached your dream (yet). On the contrary, you should be proud of yourself because you value "Education". If you apply yourself , you will achieve the MBA.Time is not important in these matters.

Dear GM, Why do you worry at this age, you are after all 30 years of age, the whole life is in front of you. You can take this MBA course in INDIA also and complete it. To take a degree at any age is right spirit. You know one thing my wife at the age of 54 years she took an international course and got a degree from the USA University by spending five full years, My son who is B.com., university first could not complete his C.A. course in the final stage , he dropped the course. Then he wrote his CAT exam and got through IIM -MBA three years before and now working as a Company Manager in India in a big software company and getting a six figure salary ,(-can you guess his age..he is only 31 years-) He is not interested to work in a private company and going take one more MBA in UK University to become a faculty . So age is no bar , try and work hard get a masters degree and come up in your life. In the initials you keep your name as GM , when are going to become a General Manager of a big company . All the best for your future course, Yours,
vrvrao

Some nice answers here.

My age - 27. I did my graduation from IIT Madras and have been in software ever since. Initially I thought I could just work on any job and earn a decent sal and be satisfied in life. Not to be. Now I am planning to get back to college and do ANY degree. Only this way I think I will ever get a true satisfaction in life.

It is important that the work that we do is interesting and motivating.

I have been in the IT industry for 5.4 yrs and may well be heading back to college in a year or two. This despite the fact that I have a home loan to cater to. Its a challenge. I am not too worried what I do (favoring MBA) but I am 100% confident that I will be making the right decision in getting back to college.

The answer to your question is - it is never too late.

Not at all. Age is just a number. Most people get MBA's from ages 23 - 35.

a villain fails just once in the end.
a hero finally succeeds just once.

while one is not expected to bare their soul, it is desirable that adequate info is furnished, for others to respond to your query. candidly "working in western country, wanted to do MBAwhich I coudn't get from foreign country due to busy with work." is not the style to furnish data.whether you have got degree & in which field, experience in which job are basic data you should provide.
yahoo Q&A is not agony aunt column
as far as perusing higher studies, it is always enriching.
