Education & Reference - 3 October 2007

I really want to go to the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Here's my situation:
My highest ACT score is a 24. My subscores within that 24 are: English 26 and Math 25.
As for UIC's placement test they require the following subscores to be exempt from the tests. http://www.uic.edu/depts/counselctr/testing/Testing_Programs/PEP/exemptions/PEP_exemptions_elsa.htm

My second highest is a 23 in which my subscores were: English: 29 and Math: 24.
I am a prospective pre-med student and i really don't want to be taking prep classes in college which i woud not be recieving credit for if i do bad on those placement tests. (They say you can not use a calculator on the math test and that's an issue for me)
So, what I would like to know is which score i should send. As far as applying goes, my gpa is about a 4.3 (on a 5.0 scale) and 40%ile.

Hello
I do not understand significant figures AT ALL! Can you please help me?
Are zeros part of them? When can they be part of them? I have a quiz tomorrow and I will have to round significant figures. For example, how does 455.77 round to 456?
When do you round up or down? My teacher is very unclear about this.

I teach ESL in a foreign country. As a native speaker, I have a strong intuitive grasp of English grammar, but I often find it difficult to explain grammar concepts to my students (or other teachers). Can someone recommend a website(s) that can aid me? Preferably, the site should be searchable (so, if I, for example, want to look up how to use "just" in a sentence, or want to research determiners, I can find the information easily). And I mean a website with information already available (in reference/tutorial form), not a website where I can post specific grammar questions (of which I already know a few).
