I'm looking for a short phrase with the same meaning as "Don't make the same mistakes" but in a form similar to words "Patience" and "Management" (i.e. noun form). All I can think of is "Mistake-repetition control" which makes no sense :) Any better ideas? Thanks in advance.

Forfeiting College Credits?

I'm planning, or rather hoping, on transferring to another college. My current college is actually the second one I've been to, having transferred from another one. However, the grades from my initial college were less than spectacular. After a skipped semester filled with reflection, I resumed focus and now maintain a very high GPA. The problem is that now that I want to transfer again to a bigger school, I want to only use the grades which are nice. An acquiantence recommended that I simply forfeit the credits from my first college but did not provide me with further instruction. Does anyone know how I might go about forfeiting college credits?

I am somewhat worried about my academics...?

Last year i was a freshman and i managed to have a 3.8 GPA taking IB classes. i was really discouraged because i didn't make it to at least a 4.0 GPA. My question is is a 3.8 GPA good enough for some of the mid level UC's such as UCI or UCSB?? also i'm in tennis for my hs and in 2 clubs if that helps any. I'm really worried because i worked my butt off in freshman year but it the workload was just too much due to IB.

SAT scores..good enough??????

well i got a 1290 on the sat's...not including the writing part...i know that that is a pretty good score but i got a 710 in english/composition and a 580 in math...will the 580 score look bad as colleges look at my scores??? Does that hinder my chances of getting into a good college? btw the major I hope to pursue is political sciences

Any suggestions for a smart kid?
