Bruce Lee was 32 when he died July 20, 1973. He was the first to introduce Chinese-style martial arts to the non-Chinese world, and one of them was called JUN FAN (his given Chinese name, as he was born in Hong Kong) JEET KUNE DO (or Way of the Intercepting Fist). After he developed this method, he certified only 3 instructors--Dan Inosanto, Taky Kimura, and James Yimm Lee (no relation to Bruce; passed on in 1972). Of these, on Inosanto is allowed to teach it. This system relies on muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and total fitness. Some of his students include actor Chuck Norris, Joe Lewis, and Mike Stone (between the three of them, while training under Bruce, they won EVERY Karate Championship in the US).
Note: It was his son BRANDON who died from a gunshot wound during the filming of "The Crow", when a stage gun was mistakenly filled with real bullets instead of blanks.

Bruce Lee had a pounding headache. Bruce took a friend's prescription medicine, and had an allergic reaction to it that killed him. I heard a great quote from the new movie 'Bigger, Stronger, Faster', and that is, "There is no such thing as a safe precription drug... that is a drug that is safe for everyone." Bruce Lee was addicted to working out, and Chuck Norris recounted in his first autobiography, that Bruce's unwillingness to slow down and rest may have aggravated the side effects of the medicine Bruce took which ultimately led to his demise. The lesson here is to never take someone else's prescription drugs. You may not get a second chance to use better judgement.
