I'm 20 years old. Recently completed my A'Levels. Now aiming to study Genetic Engineering in a renowned university. However, my father urges me to complete M.B.B.S degree. I cannot hurt his feelings, nor can I stop chasing my dreams. Any suggestions??

I think you should always listen, but that doesn't mean that you have to accept his opinion. You need to respect and consider seriously his perspective, try to understand it, but in the end, you need to make your own, fully-informed, decision.

No harm listening to your father, especially if he is in a related line. MBBS degree would be good background for Genetic Engineering. Parents will have your best interest in heart. Listen to him and make an informed decision

A son should always listen to his dad. What is his intelligence? Is it more practical to gain more experience or to get a degree? I am sure your father is worred about your future situations. Make a pro/con list as to why you want this and present it to your father. He will listen-probably

Your father has something you don't yet have, life experience.
However you are also an adult now, and the decisions you make now, you own. But respect your Father, listen to him.

Although you should always respect your parents opinions, in the end you need to listen to yourself because he isn't going to go through life for you...you need to do what's going to make you happy and your father should and will probably understand that.
