I am in college full time to get my teaching certification. I love kids, and I love to work with them. All growing up I babysat, and then I worked at my church nursery through highschool. The other day my Grandmother suggested yesterday that I have my own afterschool program where I teach children etiquette, lets say 10 kids, for two hours at a time, about four days a week. Is there any sort of certification I may need in Texas?

I am an upcoming freshman at SUNY Buffalo University and I am planning to transfer to Cornell during the next fall semester of 2008. It is my dream school and I really want to attend there by trying to maintain a college GPA of atleast a 3.8. Since there is a great emphasis of consideration on recent college work during transfers I am also planning to join many clubs at my current college. My high school gpa is 3.7 + 4 APs and 6 honors + 2 clubs.
SAT scores are not considered for transfer students in Cornell.
Do you think I have a good chance? If I'm also planning to go to grad school how will I manage to pay around 45k each year for Cornell and grad school? Are loans a financial burden after you graduate? Can grants and scholarships really cover most of that amount?

for a long period of time. And was given new data on information. Knowing this is indifferent than what you've been instructed to teach and have passed many students on this "misinformation" what has been done to rectify the learning error or should I say addition.

if that was your only chance before going to jail. Or before being thrown out of your parents house? Would you start shapen up? Or would you be a pain in the butt like most teenagers now a day's are? Laczy's and up to no good? I am asking this cause it happens to a teacher friend of mine. She say's its getting so bad latly that she is fat up with teaching. I've read many websites on the information, but I live in Pennsylvania and don't know where to actually begin the process. I've gone on the city's school website, but there isn't anything at all on homeschooling. School starts in September and I'm a bit overwhelmed on were to begin. At LEAST, they should give us free tuition. I mean they didn't charge us to go to elementary, middle, or high school...why start now? Even in some other countries they allow their citizens to go to college for free, why can't we?
