This is my senior schedule so far:

AP Government & Politics
AP English
Biology 2
Algebra 2
Geometry
French 5

I am considering taking Spanish 1 or Mandarin Chinese, but I am not sure...
Has anyone taken these classes, and can they tell me sort of what to expect? I have a general idea, but it would be nice to hear from those who have been there already. I am looking to study secondary education or medicine in college. Does my schedule look good for either of them?

I know he's just a kid. But he's such an annoying kid! He is always in everyone's business, always has something to say about anything that has nothing to do with him. He is always the first to copy someone else-if they have to pee-so does he, if their stomach hurts-so does his-on and on and on...He salivates uncontrollably, lies, speaks so loudly that he makes kids around him cover their ears, the list can go on.

I have a 13 year old boy that has been struggling with school since he was a little boy. lack of focus is what teachers keep telling me. I dont know how to help him. who comes late, leaves early, doesn't teach, surfs internet all day, ignores students and basically eats snacks all day. This guy has been getting paid about from 40k to 70k, since he started eight years ago. He actually boasts about how "kick-back" his job is. Because he has tenure, and because the principal is too weak to bother with him, nothing will change. He makes me so angry, that I have confronted him and told him to get his act together because we are on PROGRAM IMPROVEMENT which is an accountability program that has to do with NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. His response was to GO TO HELL.
How do I deal with this guy? He's in my departement.

okay so i have to make a spanish mobile for my final project/oral midterm. my assignment is to find pictures and stuff of the SOUTHERN spotted skunk but i can't find much on it. the ones with stars i have already done;
1 animal *
2 or 3 pictures of their typical habitat.
3 or 4 creatures, birds or animals that live in their habitat.
2 people (and their typical clothing) of the area that live with the animal.

In the dictionary "POWER" has many synonyms "Control" is one. Let's deal with this.

If Control is a synonym of Power, then I can replace Power with Control right??

I recon the answer is "YES" ...

Okay ...

But here's my problem. If I use the word "Power" like this .. Multiply this 3 by the power of 4. That word power is referring to maths, so I can't really replace this power with control, can I??

Well ... WHY NOT??

I mean Control is a synonym of Power right???

I am currently studying slavery at our school and the Underground Railroad. The phrase "Quaker Abolitionist" has come up a few times. I know what an Abolitionist is- someone who is against slavery. Is suicided a word? And if so, how would you sue it in a sentence. I saw it online and called the person out on it, but now it seems they say it really is a word. It seems to be past tense, like "Johnny suicided." But that doesnt make sense. IS it just our current english mindset?

I wanted to find out where someone I knew lived, so I look it up in the directory. When i was looking for the address, all I saw was "PO Box (with some numbers)" What does that mean? And if I type in directions for this person's house, do I type in the "PO Box (with some numbers)"?
