As opposed to fail? I certainly would prefer to pass than to fail. But I would agree that any class worth taking is worth offering a letter grade.

a pass is so kids arent just wandering the halls( I know we do it anyways). Teachers just want us to stay out of trouble and if they let us leave without knowing where we are going the risk losing their jobs and stuff. If a teacher asks you to take the pass, just do it so you dont get in trouble like I did yesterday...I cant leave the class for the rest of the year because I said I was going to the bathroom and instead I went and got a soda!( I got caught without a pass and got escorted back to class...the lady told my teacher about it!!!!)

What do you mean by stupid pass ? Like a homework pass? I am SO confused.
