Grammatically, do these two phrases have the same meaning? I usually hear people use the first and mean the second, but I don't think they are correct. Here's how I understand this:
-Phrase 1: None of the things is equal to any other thing.
-Phrase 2: Some of the things are equal to some other things, and some of the things are not.

Opinions?

I am teaching a lesson to my classmates for a class I am taking. They are acting as 2nd graders and my lesson has to be wrapped up with a fun healthy snack. It should only take about 10 minutes to prepare. I am stumped! Please help! I also am on a budget, so please keep it cheap, lol.

When is it appropriate to use & in place of and?

Example: "ABC, Inc. has a strong track record of delivering "mission-critical" solutions in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Travel & Transportation, and Telecommunications industries."

Should the two (Travel & Transportation) be seperated by a comma? We consider them similar industries and often group them.

What's the proper way to construct this series?
