A degree in computer sciences, University Of Wisconsin or University Of Minnesota?

I plan to transfer from a community college in Wisconsin next year and take distance learning classes. What one do you think is better?

Also this is totally random, but do those who take distance learning attend graduation with everyone? Becuase that would really suck not having a graduation for somthing so big in my life.

I want to know if I will be able to get into a good collage for undergrad, from where I can go to medical school.

I take mostly honors and AP classes. My only "below honors" class is Spanish.

I am in 11th grade, so I haven't officially taken my SATs yet, I'm taking them on May 6. But I got a 1620 on my practice test.....I'm still practicing.

My extracurriculars are: track (3 years), XC (3 years), Dance (8 years), Violin (10 years), Orchestra (7 years), volunteering at my local Hospital (2.5 years), Voice (7 years), Peer Leadership Committee member (this is my first year), and that's about it.

I just really want to know what you think my chances are of becoming a doctor....PLEASE be honest.

Also let me know if you have any thoughts on undergrad schools and/or med schools I should consider. I live in the Northeast region of the US and prefer to stay near my family.

Thanks in advance!
:)

Is going to college for Art, History.....or the Liberal Arts even worth it? What fields are in demand? And is a Bachelor's worth much anymore? I've heard it's the equivalent now of a High School Diploma. Even though you can still make 20,000 more than those without a degree..

ok so my equations are
2c - d = - 2 and 4c + d = 20.
(I am supposed to solve the system of linear equations using the substitution method)
I keep trying to do it and I keep winding up with answers like
(- 12, 17) but I know thats not right because (I'm in internet school) when I put it in for my homework it says it is incorrect and I won't get the points for my homework unless they are all correct. Please help me. Please don't just give me the answer, I need to know how you got the answer because I have to show my steps....your help is much appreciated....

American History of Opera
Opera is outrageous theirs nothing tame or timid about stupendously talented artists performing spellbinding stories in glorious costumes and settings. Opera is the fastest growing of all the performing arts, attracting audiences of all ages who are enthralled by the gorgeous music, vivid drama, and maginificant production values. In the years since 1945, opera in English has slowly entered the standard repertory. Many of these works were by Britten, yet a good deal more were by composers in the United States. While English will probably never challenge the Italian-German-French linguistic hegemony, it has gained a secure place in the second tier of operatic languages alongside Russian and Czech. A significant factor in the evolution of American opera, as in every aspect of American life was immigration. As a nation that has received shiploads of new citizens from throughout the world for centuries, the united States is distinctive in that its national operatic style is a blend of the many foreign elements that arrived on American shores and the uniquely American values that are a product of the nation’s landscape, political philosophy, and particular energy. The earliest opera performance on the American continent is thought to have been flora by the English composer John Hippesley, first seen in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1735.

What is Bail?

A person who is arrested may be held in jail pending a bail hearing if the court believes that the person is a danger to the community or that the person is unlikely to return to court for future proceedings. The court will also set bail a monetary figure that the defendant must pay to the court in order to be released pending future proceedings. The bail amount is forfeited to the court if the defendant fails to appear in the future. A bail hearing is some of the things the court considers in determining the amount of bail include the person’s ties to the community: (1) length and nature of employment; (2) presence of family members; (3) community involvement; (4) prior criminal history and history of court appearances. If you need a lawyer your attorney will review with you all necessary facts in order to properly present your case for a bail reduction or a release without bail. Often that release is critical to allow you to communicate and work with your attorney for your defense. How your case is presented at this juncture could well determine whether you are released pending a trial.
