I am trying to decide between UC Berkeley and Tufts for college next year. I live in CA, but I have family near both college locations. I am planning to major neuroscience, neurobiology, or biology and go on to medical school. My parents have told me that money does not matter, I should go where I can get the best education.

Im having a tough decision choosing between the two colleges. I like Berkeley's prestige, but im thinking it might too be hard and all work no play. Then there is Santa Barbara which is beautiful and fun, but is it too much of a party school. Please help me with my decision.

Anger , hurt and resentment were all I could feel as walked down the dim lighted hallway in my dorm room apartment. So much animosity was swirling inside of me . It began to swell in my chest and I could feel it began to burn in the pit of my stomach., but I refuse to let the tears fall until I was safely in my room. I couldn’t believe how easy It was to be betrayed by someone you trusted in a matter of hours. What hurt even more was the fact that my roommate was completely oblivious to what she had done. What could I do? Should I confront her? I thought. Though confront her seemed like the best way to go, I strongly began to fear that I would say something that I would eventually end up regretting.
“I trust you,” I remember saying, “I wouldnt be telling you any of this if I didn’t”.
“I know”, she replied . “ Im glad that you trust me , if you can’t even trust your own roommate who else can you trust?”, she then added. I looked at her , thankful that she was my friend. I had just revealed a secret to her that at times I had trouble even admitting to myself, and at that moment it felt liberating to finally have it all out there in the open. Who would have known she’d make me regret every moment of it.
I found it amazing that someone could both surprise and disappoint you at the same time.
I totally expected her to keep what I said to her just between us ,never to be mentioned again. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. What I didn’t expect was for the my other roommate to ambush me out of nowhere. “So, what ? You don’t trust me or something”, she asked very adamantly. I stood there completely surprised by her question and even more surprised by the tone of her voice. “ what are you talking about?” I asked. “ I’ve known you for how many years and this is what you do to me.” “Why haven’t you let me in on this secret?” At that moment I felt as if I had been slapped in the face. I couldn’t believe that this was happening to me ! I stood there with my mouth hanging open, my mind in a million places. I tried to calm myself down, I tried taking a deep breath and counting to three.

My last class is at 2:00.
Does it mean starting at 2:00 or ending at 2:00?

Dear Jane,
It's Tuesday, November 11. I'm really busy! At 8:00 I have math. I don't like math. Then at 9:00 I have science. It's difficult, but interesting. Next, at 10:00, I have art. It's boring, but at 11:00 I have P.E. That's my favorite subject! I eat lunch at 12:00. After lunch, I have music. Music is relaxing. I like my music teacher, Mr Cooper. He's fun. My last class is at 2:00. After class I have volleyball for two hours. Our teacher is very strict and I'm usually very tired after class. Then I have Chinese history club. It's really interesting!

I am a first year Language Arts teacher at a small private school. I teach 6,7, and 8 grade Language Arts. It is time for me to present Greek Mythology to the students ,and I am unsure how and what to present. I would like to do something different with each grade level and I don't want to do speeches or reports, and I don't want to act anything out. Something fun, original, and informative is what I am aiming for. I've done some internet research and I have found some good websites; however, I am still unsure exactly just how to present it. Any ideas?

ive been graduated for 2 years now and am ready to go on and get my degree. all my life until now i thought i wanted to be an art teacher, and now that i am getting ready to enroll, i dont know what i want to do. all i know is i want to make GOOD money, and i want something very respectable. but since ive always thought i knew what i would end up doing(teaching/art), ive never even considered any other options, and now i have no idea what to even consider. ive been thinking about anything from accounting, to law, to politics. i just know i want something where i actually look nice at work (ive done landscaping, lol! :D), and i kindof want to be ambitious, maybe work my way to being an executive or something. how do i go about deciding and exploring my options?

Well. im getting a memory mattress, the super comfy foam ones or something. But i was thinking that when i go off to college, the beds in the dorms might be less comfy, so i won't be able to get used to it. For college dorms, could you bring your own mattress? And what size mattresses? i used to sleeping on queen size- all by myself, i like the space.

I want to become a fashion designer , And was planning on going to a fashion college instead of a regular one, but yesterday, my dad telling me it is better to go to a regular one because you can have a backup plan, and can study management too. i AM CONFUSED! I have 3 questions:

1) can you study management (for starting a company) at a fashion college too?
2) is it better to go to regular college and have a backup plan in case you don't become a fashion designer?
3) can you go to a regular college, THEN a fashion one, or would it take too long?
