ive been graduated for 2 years now and am ready to go on and get my degree. all my life until now i thought i wanted to be an art teacher, and now that i am getting ready to enroll, i dont know what i want to do. all i know is i want to make GOOD money, and i want something very respectable. but since ive always thought i knew what i would end up doing(teaching/art), ive never even considered any other options, and now i have no idea what to even consider. ive been thinking about anything from accounting, to law, to politics. i just know i want something where i actually look nice at work (ive done landscaping, lol! :D), and i kindof want to be ambitious, maybe work my way to being an executive or something. how do i go about deciding and exploring my options?

Genetics, bioinformatics, anything that combines technology and medicine. If you're considering accounting, you must have some interest skill in math, so these shouldnt be a stretch, and the money will be good. Also consider pharmacy (which would need a couple more years)

Best advice is see a career counselor at your local college/community college. They can give you information about job opportunities in your area; help you research careers you are interested in, and find schools where you get the degrees you want. Don't be afraid that they will steer in to low enrollment majors at their schools. These counselors are trained professionals who want to help you find the best career for you. That's what makes a school successful.

So... it incredibly is nearly stressful because of the fact those are 2 very assorted issues. From my journey, journalism classes are incredibly aggressive and in intensity, in spite of the actuality that it varies from college to college. And journalism won't be imaginitive writing. Journalism is writing articles for newspapers, studying and informing the traditional public. in case you majored in journalism, you're able to likely be writing articles for newspapers, magazines, or doing information declares. you may double considerable in the two, which may be sensible in direction of a job as a foodstuff critic, yet you do no longer desire that. yet, properly, you have no longer even started using to faculties yet, so which you do no longer certainly would desire to think of approximately what you desire to considerable in. except you have been prevalent into engineering or music or something, you do no longer certainly would desire to think of approximately what you desire to concentration on because of the fact faculties do no longer anticipate you to understand what you desire to do with your existence in first year, and that they supply you a guess to take an array of classes to objective some waters. And alongside the way, you may desire to %. up some new pastimes, and assorted the stuff you theory you desire certainly seems to be a nightmare. You announce your majors earlier the initiating of your 2nd year, yet even then there is room to take classes outdoors of your software and make certain what you desire to do. And if it enables to ease your techniques, assorted employers do no longer even care what form of degree you have as long as you have a level - it exhibits you're a sensible stressful worker! do no longer worry approximately it too plenty for now. you have an theory of what you desire, and that's already incredibly reliable. initiate interpreting into different faculties you're attracted to, and look at different classes. do slightly examine, communicate on your college counselor and practice to the universities and classes that sound the main appealing to you.
