Is it true that writing notes/ lettters in different colours of ink can signify different feelings about that person?

I was told that writing in red ink means ignorance, can someone shed some light on the matter??

Prolonged drought along the Yangtze has reduced China's longest river to record lows, triggering a debate over the Three Gorges dam's ability to generate power, state-media said yesterday.
The Yangtze fell to its lowest level last yrs since records began in 1877, but a dam official told the Xinhua news agency that power generation in the Three Gorges area would not be affected.
"There have never been two successive yrs when a serious drop in the amount of water flowing into the mainstream of the Yangtze has occurred," said the official. "So, I believe it is unlikely there will be a significant drop in the in flow of water into the Three Gorges Reservoir from the upper reaches this year."
Buy observers say such arguments are based on historical data and fail to consider the more recent issue of climate change.
Over 2.6 million people upsteam from the dam have been facing water shortages since late February, according to the agency.

I've applied and interviewed at a school for my Psy.D. (Clinical Psychology). The program accepts up to 27 people per year and interviewed roughly 75-80. I was just informed that I am on the alternate list - the list has a total of 10 people on it, but they do not rank those people. I'm wondering what my realistic odds are for acceptance. I know it depends on financial aid, rejections, etc. My question is how OFTEN does someone reject a grad school. Do I have a 50/50 chance, or more like a 10% chance? Anyone know?

Also - is it common to find out BEFORE the April 15th deadline, or do schools wait until the deadline passes to assess the situation?

i ve just completed my 12 class and now i ve to appear for engineering exams, but i have not prep. for that (as my brother did), as i wanted to drop this year so i could prepare for IIT.(thats why i want to go for coaching classes in KOTA).
my brother is doing his engineering from a M.D.U. college which is not thought to be as good as IIT or BITS or manipal,but he has got a package of 320000 from INFOSYS.
and one of my friend has gat the same package from the same firm but he has done his engineering from ITM GURGAON.(A GOOD ONE)
NOW I THINK THAT IF I GET A REALLY REALLY GOOD COLLEGE THEN IT WONT MATTER.
BUT IF I CLEAR IIT EXAM IT WILL SURELY ,GOIN TO CHANGE MY LIFE. AM I RIGHT
