I don't know why I have to put up with this type of behavior. This is America for crying out loud. But the classrooms at my college are nasty. The floors are very dirty and there is trash that isn't getting picked up. The wastebaskets are getting emptied regularly but everything about our classroom is so untidy.

I feel that it is my duty to complain about all of this. But who am I supposed to complain to? I shouldn't have to worry about slipping on "hydraulic fluid" on the floor. But that's just the way it is since I started going to class there.

I am composing a paragraph which sounds a bit awkward

This course teaches ............................ Work related knowledge and skills would also be covered.

The last sentence sounds awkward because the words in the dots already include what to learn for the job. If I write other work related knowledge, its sounds awkward too with 'other'.
I think the topics covered would involve work safety, employment rules etc.
Any suggestion ?

I have a fair few qualiifcations to my name (undergraduate degree included) but have recently become more interested in learning more Biology. I got an 'A' at GCSE-level Biology about 7 years ago, so I want to look into studying 'A' level Biology independently (I'm living abroad at the moment so I can't just drop in to a night-school).

SO, 3 questions in one:

How do you go about this? How much does it cost, on average? Assuming I only study every other evening, how long might it take to complete the course?

Thanks, boys and girls.

I found most of the educational websites foir children are quite dull and boring or just too many words! I need a website which offers various activities for children, with more graphics, more games, comes with a sound, and can gain interest in children. One good example is:

But I need more! Please help! Thanks!

I just wanted an opinion about Cal State Northridge and Cal State LA. Hows the campus life? Especially housing on campus? How are the professors? The extracurricular activites? The surrounding city? Any current student, alumni, or even future student's opinion would be very helpful.

I have two children, both attending a play school, one in pre-school level and other one in after-school programme. I am very satisfied with the school and my children's development. I have been asked to talk on stage with regard to my experience and satisfaction with the school. I am not a very great speaker, but do not want to say no to the school as I am very much satisfied with the school. I want to express my thanks to the management on my children's development. I would request some help from my reader friends to draft me a good speech, with flowery words to show my gratitude to the school. I hope YOU, my friends, would certainly help me in this, urgently. Thanks and with best regards.

For your information, i live in Singapore. I will like to going into business for my degree but i do not know if Marketing or Managment & Studies is best for me. In What's the responsibility of the two and what are some differences of both? I have asked my friends and they have different spects in both degree courses. Presently, i am working as an admin and marketing is one of my job scope of work. If i chose marketing course to further my degree, I'm also afraid that maketing may narrow down my future job position as i can only apply for marketing jobs. I'm so confused. Please kindly help.
