wondered if any one knew of any free distance learning courses did one last year that was government funded and i ended up with a qualification, looked at learn direct&ou but cant see any free ones

Who knows the next line or what do you think the next line or lines should be? What else do you know about this rhyme? Who wrote it and when? What do you think it means? Is it intended for children? Was it a secret code for someone or something to be done at some time? What is the significance of the time clock reference? I just woke up this morning with this rhyme on my mind and so here it is as a question looking for an answer for the mouse. Anything you know about it would be appreciated.

Okay, I grasp all the mechanics of iambic pentameter, except that discussions of form, like of sonnets, seem to treat stress as if it is too obvious to explain. They only give examples. Listen, I must have no ear for this aspect of speech. As I speak and hear in English inflection changes to suit the whim of the speaker--not to mention regional variation.

Is there a good explanation out there of stressed and unstressed syllables, as applied in poetry?

The phrase i would like to translate is

I used to take latin but it was ages ago- the best i could come up with is
"Dominus mihi valoris sum bonum hominem daret."
