logarithms? I'm supposed to use logarithms to solve growth and decay problems. Can you explain how to do this problem?: Suppose $500 is invested at 6% annual interest compounded twice a year. When will the investment be worth $1000? Can anyone help me with this one? I think I can have this one explained I should be able to get the rest. thank you to anybody that can help.

I'm 26 and I will soon be applying for chiropractic school for early next year. I will be enrolled full time and know that I will need financial aid. I estimate that I will need $120k in loans. I have been told that when you apply for the FAFSA, they score you with how much you should be able to afford for your tuition, then they give you loans, etc.

I don't understand how they calculate this score, but I will probably have maybe $10k by the end of the year. Would it make more sense to have my parents hold this money for me so that it appears that I have less money to contribute for school? Any other suggestions when applying for financial aid?

i learn more by doing something instead of copying stuff down from a board. ive always been like that. anyways...

im doing an NVQ 2 in hairdressing and i am great at the practical stuff but i get so bored in the theroy class that my mine wunders and i start doodleling on the page.

This is the first question for my assignment which is titled: critical analysis and summary.

I have to complete a critical analysis of the following document:

The first question says:
Identify the main line of reasoning of the piece - what is the writer's argument?

Don't mean to sound dumb but this is confusing me and really peeing me off.

Do i just need to say whether the writers is for or against IQ testing? If that is the case, i have read over the document, yet i can't work out whether the writer is for or against it?
