I've also heard the following:
|--: Febyuary instead of Febrooary.
|--: nooz instead of nyooz.
|--: alloor instead of allyoor.
|--: Chrissmuss instead of Chrisstmuss.
|--: axt instead of askt.
|--: wudnt instead of wuzn't.
|--: nyookyool'r instead of nyooklee'r.
|--: pronounseeashun instead of pronunseeashun.
Language evolves. Words that sound weird or difficult to pronounce often evolve new pronunciations.
I've also seen variant spellings:
|--: "Its so anoying!" instead of "It's so annoying!"

I just heard some contestant say "liberry" on TV the other day -- on, of all tv shows, "Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader." UGH!! To call this a speech impediment doesn't cut it -- it is just laziness.

You're right. Some people have lazy tongues.
Li-burr-ry. That's what you are talking about.
Same way with Feb ru ary. Some people say
Feb bu ary. Lots of words are like that. It would
be fun just to make a list of words that are
mispronounced. That will be your homework
for tomorrow. Have fun.

Sorry if it's annoying, but I do that all the time. I talk so fast that it ends up sounding like that.
