if the ordered pairs form a straight line, its linear, if it doesn't its not
ex:its diagonally straight most of the time(if its linear)
basically you use y=mx+b to find the slope
b=y intercept
m=slope
look at the coordinates and put y2(the coordinate)-y1(the second y coordinate
you divide that by x2-x1(same concept as y)
y intercept is basically where the y meets with x as 0
jus plug in any number to solve
again, if it forms a straight line, its linear

im just going to take a stab at it...i think maybe graphing using line graphs or scatterplots with line of best fit?

have not heard of linear graphing... Can you give context..
