OK, I'm a freshman in high school and I want to know what colleges/universities are best for journalism and that I have a chance with. As of right now, I have yet to take ACT (we dont take SATs in my state), and I have all As in my classes but we dont have APs or anything like that offered. These are my activities so far and I'm interested in Northwestern U, UNC-Chapel Hill, and NYU.

Volleyball-2 yrs., Student Council Rep - 2 yrs., Class Officer- 3 yrs. Color Guard - 1 yr., Jr. High Dance Team - 1 yr., Newspaper Staff - 2 yrs., Co-Editor 1 yr., The Tattoo Staff writer-1 yr.

Do you have any suggestions of things I could do to improve my chances of getting into a good school?

Yes, I'm being judgmental. I don't mind helping people with homework, but there are SO many super-specific questions on here that people could so easily find the answer to themselves. I just don't get what people think they're learning by asking someone to give them the answer to something. Yes, I know it's called Yahoo ANSWERS, but come on. Do you really think you're going to pass (much less get anywhere in life) by getting your answer from someone on Yahoo?
