Take 4 years of science. The more advanced, the better.

To become a surgeon, you first have to graduate high school. Having a strong background in science is helpful in getting into a science major in college. Now, you don't have to have a science major in college, but it does make it easier to get into science classes at a lot of universities.

Med schools don't require any particular major. They just require a list of courses. Fulfill those courses, and they could care less if your major was fashion or criminal justice.

Once you get in med school, try and do well there. That's because you still have to try and get a surgery residency after you finish med school.
