I've been in homeschool from 5th grade till 12th grade. I would say that homeschool has many advantages. I can study more, there isn't peer pressure, and I can spend more time with my family. But there are disadvantages. 1 is I find it hard to socialize with people.

Are there any homeschoolers out there, who have the same problem?

For people who heard about homeschool, do you think it is better than normal schools?

I am assigned a creative writing. We are too find a picture and be descriptive about it. I found a picture on google with children praying desperately. I thought i write something about prayer, but i missed the idea of describing the picture. Can someone help me with a creative story i can add upon my writing? e.g; what are they praying for? during what time? Anything creative.

PS. If there is any other suggestions for pictures, im up too it also. What other pix can i describe other than prayer? Why do you think i should write about that pic? What is your creative idea?

This is for Jessica H. "Your People" stole and murdered to get the land from someone else when "Your People" migrated here from over the Berring land bridge. If it was alright for "Your People" to do it, then why is it so bad that we did the same as you.

I'm currently looking for vocational schools in my area that offer different types of medical programs for Ultrasound (sonography) or Surgical Tech's. This school came up in my search and I have been doing some research on it, but I'm only able to speak with the reps (who push you to sign up for classes ASAP which I'm not thrilled with) or different internet sites, but I have not heard anything from anyone who actually attended there or was looking into attending there. The only article I did pull up outside SBI sites and collegesurfer.com totally bashed the school and now I'm VERY discouraged. The only problem I'm having now is that SBI seems to be the only school that offers the programs I want in a time that is reasonable for me (I work full time). Does anyone have an info or advice on SBI?? I'd greatly appreciate any input you have good or bad. Thanks!!!

I want to go to school to become a dental hygienist, I am 23 and have graduated from a two year program in a completely different field. Located in the Baton Rouge, LA, area. on having trouble with reading, epecially phonics (maybe Dyslexic). Currently attending 1st grade and is falling behind due to the reading problem. Goals to get him reading on a third grade level before going back to public school in for third grade. In other subjects he is above average but is now testing where he has to read the tests on his own and cannot do it.
