Located in the Baton Rouge, LA, area. on having trouble with reading, epecially phonics (maybe Dyslexic). Currently attending 1st grade and is falling behind due to the reading problem. Goals to get him reading on a third grade level before going back to public school in for third grade. In other subjects he is above average but is now testing where he has to read the tests on his own and cannot do it.

I've been homeschooled before, and I think it is a good way to teach one's child(ren). I used a curriculum from Abeka books. They have curriculums from kindergarten till 12th grade. I would reccommend you to try that.

Yes...although this may prevent your child from distracted lessons!...It would be a shame for your son to not cummunicate with other chilldren and not make many freinds i think that it would be best to keep him at school!
