I am trying to decide what to get my degree in. I am thinking about teaching and wondering what to expect (for my kids sake and daycare issues). What time of day do elementary school teachers finish work. Does it matter if it is younger grades versus older grade. Is it a family friendly occupation?

the context was like, i was describing to a friend tht am lookign for a guy who is quite elder to me,as i think elder guys r more emotionally warm than younger guys.so then this friend who is a young man told me....."get ur basics right,and you would get a guy"...i want to know wht the word BASIC means in thsi context

I finished an Associates degree in 2005 and my enlistment in the military doesn't expire until 2009. I just wanted to know if the amount of time I've been out of school will make it difficult when I apply to a University to finish my Bachelor's degree. I'll be applying to a University of California campus (probably UC Davis).

I'm an undergraduate in Texas, majoring in mathematics. My goal in life is to become a math teacher somewhere at a university or community college.

My questions include how do I get there, what states are best to work in, what are the chances of a small town boy like myself to get out of Texas!?
