I took a Creative Writing Class via online. It was from Ohio State University. I took it in 2002. I passed. But got no certificate for that one class. It was distance learning via mail correspondence. I rather preferred email-though it wasn't an option. I thought it was okay. The class cost me $80. I got a B for the class.

There are many legitimate online learning programs out there. If you are seriously looking for an online institution make sure they are...
1. A Nationally Accredited University
2. Check the Better Business Bureau and do your homework to see if there are any complaints on record.
There are plenty of bogus online programs but there are also some really great ones. You want to make sure the program is from a REAL university with a real campus. That would help you make a better decision.

Think about what?
As long as its accredited school they count towards degrees or if you got a degree it makes it legit.
