The Topic to essay: In chapter five,How does Charles Dickens convey the growing anger and desperation of the french peasentry in pre-revolution france??

In Charles Dickens novel: A Tale of Two Cities Dickens conveys and captures the growing anger, depression and desperation of the peasantry in many repetitions, symbols, and contrasting imagery, to bring suspense and wonder to the book to grab hold of the reader. The main sequence in the book that expresses these details is the wine casket scene in chapter five.

Hi! I'm looking into colleges (I'm a high school Junior), and I wanted to know if I really had a chance at NYU, Harvard, Wellesley, etc.
I'm ranked 1st out of about 500 people, involved in Forensics, Key Club (secretary for two years), National Honor Society, and on the newspaper staff as a news reporter and columnist. I have a 3.85 unweighted GPA with a 4.5 weighted GPA (based on last year), and I'm taking five AP classes (one of them online). I also write for an online newspaper and am bilingual (working on my Spanish as a third language by taking it as an AP class). Last summer, I took a law course, and hopefully, this summer I'll be planning a Model UN club for my school while volunteering.
Anywho, could you please make some suggestions as far as extracurriculars and such? My counselor said that my income level would make me eligible for a free ride through Harvard or Yale, so money is not my main issue (especially since I'm working on scholarships).

Have worried about her choice, though of course, up to her. She wanted to study Law later, but I've been told Law degrees not keen on people with A level law. Also, she's v keen on psychology, but think she's pulled the rest out of the air - any guidance? She's bright and self motivated, think she'll prob be OK whatever, but we put her off Performing Arts stuff she enjoyed as thought she might be unemployed waitress rest of her life

My Son is In High School Now and It has Always been a Struggle for him to get Good Grades. Not Because He isnt Bright or Capable but because He just Isnt Motivated to Try Harder. We'll Talk and he'll do better. I Do believe that Some teachers Do Make the Difference. As I Know that was The case for me. But Whats the Best Way to get him to Want To Learn. So that he Will Try and Not Just Mope around when he Should be Getting His Work Done?
His Teachers have said that it isnt because he is goofing off with others but Mostly Just from Not turning his work in.
I Know its a Motivation problem Just Dont Know the best way to Turn it around :-s

My daughter is learning her times table but is getting confused when the teaching talks about sharing. (I presume they mean 30 shared by 3 is 10) and although she is bright she seems to have a complete blockage with this part of the multiplications and is consequently losing confidence.
