Perhaps if you call the middle school where you went you can find out. Usually they are still friends with some of the teachers there. If you know who they were really good friends with then maybe you can write them a note. If they do not feel comfortable giving you the information they can pass the note on to the teacher.
When I do a search on my name the info from www.ratemyteacher.com comes up. That could tell you which school they are at. Have googled the teachers name?
