K Well I just started a new year at a brand new school. I'v never really met anyone here. I am a VERY shy person..but I want to become part of the popular crowd. I just don't know what to say to them. Normally I am very outgoing..but that's only if I know you for awhile and feel comfortable around you. Please help me. Any suggestions on how to become part of the "in-crowd"? Im desperate here.

I have all my classes with at least one of the members of the clique. I sit next to this girl named Britney in my math & science class. In my other class I sit near 4 of the members of the clique and I am supposed to be doing an art project with one of them. And in PE I am in the same class. Any suggestions on how I can overcome my shyness and talk to one of them so I can join the crowd?? PLEASE HELP ME

I am in high school and I have been in two summer college programs. I really got my hopes up about college. Its every man for himself, the instructors are stale and lack personality, and the instructors think that you do not have a life outside of the class. The "young adults" are still clandish like the kids in high school. I don't know if I can survive another four years of this "education" madness.

I'm a senior and ever since seventh grade I have learned only very few things in school. And my grades show it. I have a 2.2 GPA. In elementary school learning was still hard but I managed to learn the basic important stuff like reading and writing and simple math, but even now at age 18, I can't even attempt to pass a Constitution test or do a "simple" algebra problem. So far I have failed almost 90 percent of my tests since middle school and I am currently a senior in high school. And I have gotten a "C" on every essay just because the teachers are nice. I am also in French II, and all I know are the numbers and just two or three phrases. I only learn useless stuff, for example the other day the my American Government teacher taught us about districts and to determine how many districts there are you divide the entire population by 600,000. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome but my problem seems more severe, and I have no friends.
