I am looking for a residential school that has a healing plan for abused children, what type of staff?

should I be aware of that would help out my friends child deal with what she went through, what type of teachers would be able to help and benefit her?

The best people to help abused children are those who went through similar situations. There should of course be a psychiatric specialist on staff and those that are religious interacting with the child everyday. In fact if you can find one run by a church that would be good. Not necessarily to try to convert but I think religion can help with any problem we have. Turning to God in time of need can be a blessing when we need one the most. ↑
