I'm looking for the title on a story i read when i was in middle school. It was about a little girl that was born deaf and blind and a teacher was brought in to help her. We read the story and the teacher then showed us the video. The video was black and white. I'm trying to find all the old stories that where converted into movies. Please if you guys remember any it would be great! I found to kill a mocking bird by hitchcock.

Living alone for the first time?

Is ha-sehufim a name or what? I find this in my book. It is a Chinese story. It was translated into Hebrew. And this word appears in the title of the book.

Is it possible to apply for nursing school before or while you are taking the pre-reqs?

I did most of the pre-reqs to get into a RN program over five years ago so now i have to take the big 3 again. should i apply for nursing schools now before i even start taking them or should i wait until i finish them? i didnt get great grades before and i am hoping to do alot better this time. i already have a BS in a different field. any advice about if i should do another BS program or an AA program?

Need help!!!!!!?

Hey everybody i need some advice ok well i am currently 18 years old and i have a 5 month old daughter. I graduated high school in june 2006 and im now in college its really packed in the house im staying in and i cant afford a full-time job while going to school and taking care of my daughter. Its really hard and i was wondering if anybody knew a place where i can get some financial help not loans for some housing like an apt. for me and my daughter while i attend school. Any advice would help!!!

Help me find the right career for me!?

I am currently a nurse (and hate it). I've worked as a nurse for almost 20 years. I want to go back to school. I'm just not sure what to take. I love animals, nature etc. I like math and science. I don't want to work directly with customers/patients. I'm sick of hands-on care of people. I'm not an introvert, but I am just tired of taking care of people. My passion is gone for it. What does a thirty-something person go back to school for? I don't think it's logical for me to go to medical school or something like that, although the money would be NICE! I'd be forty+ when I was done. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is it typical to "student-loan-it" through the entirety of college and med school?

I am considering starting school soon and am worried about how much money I will be able to borrow. It would be nice not to have a job all through my first four years of college, and I know for a fact that I wont be able to hold a job and go to med school at the same time. Can I get away with borrowing the money for school and living expenses for the entire eight years? Med school alone is going to cost me $140k (including living expenses.)
