After he was unhandcuffed, Frank was left alone in the strange room for about five minutes before someone else came in and grabbed his hand. He yanked it on the pad, an in surprise, Frank screamed angirly. the man laughed. "you see franky, what happens when people disobay me, I don't take kindly to it."

at 2:30 AM and borrow cell phones from strangers on a sidewalk? Wouldn't just a tiny bit of common sense go a long way in preventing crimes of this kind?

Hi, I'm Japanese. How would you refuse someone's invite if you were not interested in that. especially between good friends.......I don't want to hurt them but I don't really hope to join.

Frank was bruttaly shoved into the wall. Someone, in their haste, had left his hoodie behind. He tried to reach for it but his arm was yanked up and cuffed to the other one. He was tossed into the nearby van, where yet another person blindfolded him and gagged him. Frank struggled, but he knew with a easy feeling there was no way he was getting out of this mess that he had mistakenly gotten himself into.

I find myself with with the 'Closed to Answers' questions?

This question may be in the 'Trivia' section, but it doesn't feel bloody trivial. It's really irritating.

I just read about this week's featured Yahoo! Answers user, Professor X. I was just wondering if her name was in reference to the Lois Gould article," X: A Fabulous Child’s Story?”
By the way, if you are reading this Professor X, congrats on being this week's featured user and for getting many, many Best Answers!

We have two events like this per year. Last year was my first year as a teacher. We did the family reading night in late November, so we did a Christmas type of holiday theme around the Polar Express book. We did an excellent job. Each grade level did a different theme. I teach second grade.
Anyway, this year it is going to be a fall or Halloween theme. We have little time to prepare for this since it was given with short notice. We have to do fun reading activities centered around fluency, comprehension, phonics, etc. Plus we have to send home some type of activity that the family could complete with their child.
What would be a good idea for a theme and some activities. I am stumped. I want this to go as well as it did last year and I am so worried about this.

Question:
2x^2+10x-4=0

I know that you have to divide all by 2-----making it:

x^2+5x-2=0

then move it over:

x^2+5=2

then:

Add (1/2 coeff of x)^2

which makes it----(1/2(5))^2=25/4^2

but that just can't be right....can you help me out?

ty!!
