What does it mean to "wish for something in faith"? does it mean that you believe that it will actually comet true?

I'm not sure about "wishing" for something in faith . . . but "believing in something in faith" does mean that you know / believe that it will actually come true.

I was taught that to "wish for something in faith" means that you truly want it but you have the faith to know that if it does not happen that it was for a reason. Simply, you could wish for a ticket to Europe tomorrow and not get it, finding that the next day here something wonderful happens to you that you would not have know about if your wish had come true.

It means that you believe that you are going to get it while wishing at the same time.
