They said if im 17 and i dropped out of school they said they will take my license away. How long will they take it away here in Ca.

Some people learn by watching, some by doing. Some people take notes and write everything down. Some just listen. What is the best way to teach so that people will learn easier?

Basically my kids go to school in pittsburgh, and the no child left behind letters arrive and I get a call, so now my question. It says that if there are not enough spots open for a child to transfer to a school that is within federal quidelines for education that it will go
1. Kids that are doing the worst in school.
2. Social, and econimic standing. I can only assume social means race.

So my kid as a B student in a subpar school, with what I can say are subpar teachers will have to stay there if there are not enough openings in a better school, because he is white and does good in school. He went to private school last year and they closed the school the next closest one to us was 20 miles away, and we cant afford tuition and the gas to get him there and back, we fit into the economic part I guess. So is that right because he does good he is going to get punished by maybe having to stay there with a level of education below national standards.

Im 17 I dont go to school anymore but the school that im attending doesnt know that im dropping out. I cant drop out because its against the law here in california so I dont go to school at all so they can drop me for not showing and I need a work permit to get a job. My daughter finished kindergarten as "level 4" reader.
We did a summer reading program and now at the start of 1st grade she's now a "level 12".

What does "level 12" mean? Is it 2nd grade level, or advanced 1st grade? If someone knows the answer that'd make my afternoon, thanks!

My school is on block scheduling (1 1/2 hours class time each)and here's my schedule:
1st semester:
Latin II, Advanced European History, Trigonometry, Advance Literature
2nd semester:
Advanced Latin, Advance European History (year long course, obviously), Advanced Environmental Science and then I get off at 1:30 to take classes at the local college.

Then I have to take all those AP tests which are $80 each, and there are so many things to pay for this year and we have no money! Then, I also work around 30 hours a week and get up at 5:00 a.m. 7 days a week. I know people have it tougher than me and I'm just complaining but I'm very stressed! Words of comfort needed and appreciated, lol.
