We're be having a debate and I'm the first speaker who happen to be on the affirmative side. And the proposition/motion is,"This House believes that all college graduates must take a licensure examination." What i need is some important facts, issues or even general information concerning such motion due to it might help our team to win. But much of my concern is not the idea of wining the debate, but to educate my fellow classmates as well as to update them regarding the latest issues concerning such motion. Thanks for the help and suffort promise I will use such replies wisely on our debate and i will give you some feedback after we had our debate.

I'm recently divorced and almost 40 and don't have any children. I am considering the possibility of becoming a single parent and am wondering if this pretty much dooms me to sending my child to public school. Is there anyone out there who has managed to home school as a single parent? I'm not even sure I want to home school, but public school was not good to me and I want to look at my options.

I have been put into an English class which I don't feel comfortable in, been the victim of some minor bullying, and I'm finding the work relatively easy. My mum has already contacted the school and they said they would sort it (and didn't) any tips on what to do next or who I should talk to? Thanks

Recently I read the word being used this way:
"I am tremendously humble and was a little emotional after the game," Childress said. "I'm just happy for those guys in the locker room. ... They faced a lot of adversity tonight. It was an away game, a Monday night, Hall of Fame coach, I'm just pleased with what they accomplished."
Oftentimes I would hear the word being used in this manner: " I am humbled by this great opportunity," or "I am humbled to receive this award." At first glance, the kind of emotion that the sentences convey sounds good but it seems to me that the word humble is being missused in such cases.
Humble people do not claim to be humble.
A Humbling experience usually involves some type of struggle within oneself self which is not the kind the feeling one gets when one gets an award or a win - grateful maybe, but not humble. Maybe I'm just a bit behind the evolution of the word. If so, please explain.
