We're be having a debate and I'm the first speaker who happen to be on the affirmative side. And the proposition/motion is,"This House believes that all college graduates must take a licensure examination." What i need is some important facts, issues or even general information concerning such motion due to it might help our team to win. But much of my concern is not the idea of wining the debate, but to educate my fellow classmates as well as to update them regarding the latest issues concerning such motion. Thanks for the help and suffort promise I will use such replies wisely on our debate and i will give you some feedback after we had our debate.

I believe the question should read, "Should all college graduates be required to take a licensure examination?" Some college graduates are already required to do this in order to practice in their field, such as lawyers, doctors, psychiatrists, dentists, plumbers, eletricians, and so on. Some fields do not require licenses, in part because their practice will not have a direct effect on the public. An English major, for example, can graduate and become a writer without needing a license. If he or she wants to teach English, then a state teaching certificate (license) is required, and this means an examination. There are some fields which do not require a license that I believe should, my own of photography being an example. I have a BFA in photography and 25 years of experience, but anyone with a camera and some money can open a photography studio without needing a license.
I hope this is helpful.
