My 3rd grader is in a dual luangage (Spanish/English) program. I have a Spanish/English dictionary, but that didn't help me. My daughter says that tengo means "I have" and anos is "years". I must be getting something lost in the translation. She thought they were asking about pets, but it doesn't seem like it to me. Thanks for your help.

My school forces us to take 2 language courses to get an associates degree. I tried Spanish but found it not interesting. I was considering German since it is a Germanic language like English so maybe is easier to learn? What do you think? Thanks!
