If I order something today, and it says that it will ship tomorrow (Aug. 31) with two-day shipping, shouldn't it arrive on Friday, Sept. 1?

Yes, Friday is a regular business day. But if something ships on Thursday, then Friday arrival would be NEXT day delivery since the count starts when the item is shipped. Two day delivery would be the next business day after Friday, which would be next Tuesday.

It should, depends what authority the business has to declare its own holidays. Some businesses may take the Friday as a holiday too to give their employees a 4-day weekend.

With a little bit of luck. Friday is a business day except a lot of folks will be taking it off from work. I bet you won't get it until Tuesday if it is coming UPS. Sorry. Wishing you luck.

If you order it 8/31, you may not get it until Tuesday 9/5 because they have to process the order first. You may want to ask them.

It depends on what time the shipping is picked up on the 31st. I wouldn't count on seeing your package until Tuesday.

from the 31st to the 1st is one day, so no.
two business day is from the day it ships. thats one day from thurs to friday. the second business day is tuesday.
