What efeects do you think time travel has? My thought, you can't change time. example: A guy is born rich he has always had money in his bank account. He goes back in time to become richer by depositing money into a bank account. When he returns to his time nothing has changed. He always had money because he was the one in the first place to put the money in the account.

I have recently started to regret not putting more effort into learning French when I was in elementary and high school. However, I also recognize that the French I was being taught was not really practical French. Furthermore, it was "Parisian" style French instead of the Quebecois French I encounter much more often.

I have started to listen to French radio and read it whenever I can but I can't seem to get past the basic jist of what is being said and even then I'm not sure if I'm always right. I would like a workbook or series of workbooks that will help me improve my knowledge of Quebecois French. Could you recommend a book or series?

Here in Alabama if a teacher teaches in a school district for a specific period of time the school system will offer them a tenured position. For those of you that do not know what that is, it is a guaranteed job, until you retire, in a nutshell. You don't have to teach anymore, you don't have to stay current with your subject, ( science, history) you just show up 9 months out of the year and complain that you "don't get paid enough to put up with this". So if you teach elementary school you tell the parents their child needs to be put on Riddlin, Adderall, etc.. If you teach high school you just tell the kids to read the chapter and answer the questions at the end. My 1st. grade teacher wanted me to go to special ed because I didn't pay attention in class .

I would like to know if tenure is common in the US or is it just here in the South. If it is common, I have an idea on how to help fix our public school system.

life in high school sucks. atleast for me. i dont have firends, no social life. i do talk to people, but i really dont have close relations with anyone. the only thing my parents tell me is study, study, and study. i do have good grades and im definitely college bound, so my question is college really the best time of your life. coz ive heard a lot of stories about it.,will i make friends, and bsically have fun, maybe get some dates??? or will it be just like high school, and ill be a social outcast for four more years?
