Good question.
But I would assume to many young people are just replying with any quick answer for the two points and move on.

Because most people don't know grammatically correct English. For many people, English is a second, third or fourth language. The fact that so many people speak your native language is darn near miraculous. For native English speakers, proper English both spoken and written is becoming a dying art. Also, because we live in a culture in which intelligence is looked down upon and coolness or popularity revered. While I agree with you that in countries in which English is the common tongue a modicum of familiarity with proper grammar essential, I recognize my own inability to communicate at all in many other languages my failing. I appreciate others ability, however limited, to communicate with me in my own language. Basically, they speak and write mine better than I do theirs!

I never really thought it mattered that much. Most of the time you get what they're saying. It's just quicker and easier to do that. Most people also aren't able to type with 100% proficiency and type fast at the same time.

That is the best question I have seen so far.
Some people try to ask or answer very seriously and persuasively, when they can't even spell or speak English. Their own condition discredits their opinion, in my opinion.

Maybe all the answers are coming from Canada? Everyone knows the Canadians can't spell worth the ice they're made of.

Many people don't know what is grammatically correct, and many have never been taught but in fact were pushed through school even thought they did not know the basics.

because people don't check their answers to see if they're gramatically correct.
