No, it wasn't. Spain reached Maluku, but never made it Spain's colony. Same as Portugal.
And for another answerer, Ducth wasn't the only one that colonize Indonesia. For a short five years, it was British, then it was Dutch again. During WWII until independence, it was Japan.
By the way, this is a common lesson for a fifth grader in Indonesia.

you werre probably thinking of the phillipines,they were under spanish rule for some time.
