Oh The Kite Runner is so new that published lesson plans are hard to find even on the internet. I'll give you a couple of small things, but there won't be much online for a couple of years I think.

The ones below are good, but don't offer much day to day lesson plans. The sources should help give some extra material.

I literally just finished reading that book an half an hour it go. It was good. I'm suprised, but glad it's being taught in high school
