My soon-to-be husband and myself are heading to Washington D.C. and Philadelphia for our honeymoon next weekend. Does anyone have any reccomendations of where to eat? Our plans are to visit Arlington National Cemetary and some of the memorials in WDC, and then the Mutter Museum and Rodin Museum in Philly, so anywhere close to those places would be great.
We're not looking for anythign 5 star- we just want to really experience the best food from both places, even if it's just a mom-and-pop kind of place.
Oh- and if you know of any water-ice places near Philly that are already open this time of year, PLEASE enlighten me! I've been craving it since I left the area 4 years ago. There is nothing else around like true water-ice.
Thanks!

I would like to have lunch with the Mayor of my city. Do you have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this. I personally do not know him. I just thought that it would make for an enjoyable afternoon.

when you walk in, a long bar is to your left, and a morror is on the way. In the early 90's, it was green inside w/carpet. alot of wood work, a large stairway to the right, celeb pictures all around, not realy brightley lite, homy, warm feeling inside, best cheessteak I ever had. Large beer seletion. It was close to the BF bridge. Can anyone help?? I'm going back there soon and can't remember it's name or local. Thank you.

I work in the city and live just North of it, so I eat "Philly food" all the time. But I'm curious about those who have visited and tried the food. What did you think? Here's what I'm talking about:

Soft Pretzels
Cheese Steaks
Hoagies
Scrapple

I live close to Philadelphia. A cool restaurant you can recommend? I don't like seafood, but like pretty much everything else.

I recently moved to Philadelphia and I want to start working as a bartender, but I don't know where to apply. I'd like somewhere fun with lots of energy, preferable in old city or center city. So tell me your favorite places to go, or work, or places to stay away from.

My husband and I are looking for some nice up and coming neighborhoods to buy our first home. We like good food/restaurants & we like outdoor exercises and Yoga. We have very little funds to work with.

Interested to see local response.
