Pat's is heaven to me. A Heartattack Mushroom Wit-out is pure zen. I want to know what other people think is a great Philadelphia cheesteak to try or should I just stick with Pat's?

Ok...everybody has a favorite, but very few give a reason.

What is your favorite place to get a cheesesteak in Philadelphia, and why? Is it Pat's, Geno's, Tony Luke's, Jim's, somewhere else?

Whatever you choose, please let us know roughly where it is and why you choose them as your favorite.

Celebrating a special occassion, dressy casual to dressy, Non-Asian food (we eat that too often), Center city preferred but not required (West of Philly is better than East), $25.00 - $35.00 entree price range is OK and I'm willing to spend a little more if necessary. A unique theme and/or unusual menu would be nice but a warm, quiet atmosphere for a comfortable table conversation is more important - though it would be nice to have both. Short time frame for reservations for 4 (Sat. 11/04/06). Liquor license or BYOB - either is OK. We are true diners so we don't like to feel rushed. Live music (Jazz or piano player) would be the icing on the cake! Thank you in advance for your input and suggestions.

Specifically, I am looking for a place that has light, slow music that people can dance to. A restaurant that has all this would be a plus.

Please do not suggest Shampoo, Cuba Libre, Egypt or other similiar places.

A friend told me about this, but forgot the name & exact location of the place. Is it true that they have veggie chicken and other dishes here, made fresh?
Please locate the place for me

I've had Ethiopian in San Francisco, Quebec Canada, and Washing DC (which is about a 4 hour drive). Is there any Ethiopian Restaurants that are in a reasonable driving distance? I can't find any!
