There are quite a few good Caribbean restaurants in West Philadelphia - Try Brown Sugar which is at 52nd and Chancellor (one block south of Walnut) and well as Ibis Lounge on 55th and Lancaster.
Jamaican Jerk Hut at 15th and South isn't bad either.

Well Freddy's and Tony's On 2nd and Allegheny is a popular Puerto Rican Restuarant. Porky's Point on 5th and Rising Sun is really good Puerto Rican Food. Tierra Columbiana on 4535 North 5th Street is nice and the food is also very good, spanish food. As far as Carribbean Food not really sure. But if you are so inclined 5th Street The Golden Block or El Bloque del Oro has quite a few Puerto Rican Restuarants. Good Luck and enjoy!!!! All the above mentioned are in Philadelphia. Not sure of South Jersey, sorry.

Is Cherry Hill in Southern Jersey? There's a Bahama Breeze there, according to my search, and also one in King of Prussia:
