it is spanish, meaning appetizers (not mexican) and let me tell you, I lived in spain for three years and tapas are a must try.

Tapas's are small dishes found in a "Spanish" type restraunt.
Dishes are like shrimp & garlic, potoes & onions, Spanish sausage, ect.
Great place to share dishes...

They're little plates of appetizer foods. Good for sharing.
Sort of like dim sum in oriental culture.
