I like Charlie Brown's (nothing to do with Snoopy). It's a chain of steak-house restaurants with a GREAT salad bar. Also they are mid-range priced. I'm not sure if they have something down in the Philly area of NJ.

If you go, be sure to sign up for their 'handshake' club. You get a $20 gift certificate when you spend $200 (total). Also, you get $10 for your birthday.

If you are in S. Jersey and are looking to head over to Philly, try Old City and South St. Some good places are Bistro Romano, Philadelphia Fish & Co., Swanky Bubbles, La Familgia and Cubra Libre.

I don't know where in NJ you live, so this suggestion is based on that fact. Try the Cheesecake Factory. There are many locations and the food is very good. Big portions, and a nice selection of quality food.

Bon Appetit!
