Some people like Tacanellie's (sp?). You have to call ahead and reserve your dough because they only bake about 300 pies a day. Me I like some of the neighborhood pizza places. I think Little Nickey's and Victoria's in the Northeast have the best peel pie (New York style) and Galaxy Pizza again in the Northeast has the best New England, but with pizza you can not go wrong!!!!One of the best food groups..

The best place to eat pizza in Philadelphia is Tacconelli's. It is rated #1 from all the pizza places in Philly!

It's not in Philly proper....but the best Pizza (by FAR) that I've had in the Philly area is at a place near Ben Salem called Cassanovas. It is EXCELLENT. As far as in philly...Lorenzos on South Street is damned good. I need to warn you of one other thing....Tacconelis is among the worst Pizzas you will ever eat. IT STINKS. IT'S AWFUL. It's a thin, stale, ritz cracker crust with a sugary sauce and not enough cheese. It's GARBAGE.

Check out South Street in downtown Philly. There's this amazing pizza place right by the Laff House comedy club. I don't know the name of it, and they sell pizza by the slice (there's no where to sit), but it's awesome pizza. The best I've had in Philly. If you go late at night, you can't miss it. There's always a crowd. :)
