Can anyone recommend a Bar/Lounge for an Engagement Party? I'm looking to plan someting on a Saturday evening for 50-60 people. It will be open bar plus hors d'oeuvres. It should have a private or mostly private room. Thanks for the help!

i'm looking for something around the city or in the near vicinity. come to think of it, if there's one in central NJ, that would work as well.

I was just wondering how you go about getting on a guest list at a club? Is this similiar to making a reservation?

My husband and I will be going to a concert in Carnagie Hall tomorrow (St. Patty's day)) and I was wondering if any one knew any good bars we could check out near by - not to far walking distance since it's cold out. We're not into a cluby - hip-hop scene nor are we old (we're 26). Any suggestions?
Live celtic music would be fun, but I'd like to hear all suggestions. Also, is that part of NYC considered Manahttan?

Hey, where would a fabulous young woman who's turning 24 go for their bday in NYC? Somewhere stylish, with good atmosphere, good dancing (ie popular and hip hop) AND ample seating (ie banquettes and such for just hanging around when not dancing). Also somewhere that has a somewhat selective door but is not a terrible fight to get in or anything, considering a crowd of 15 or so. This will be in March. Thanks!!

I am going to NY in two weeks and I am not leaving without a piece of some NY pizza! I don't like the Chicago style thick-crust pizza. I want the kind that looks soggy and cheesy. I know it sounds gross, but that is my favorite kind of pizza :)
