I'm talking about a place were you can sit ion the counter in the morn' and enjoy watching the guy prepare your hash brown with eggs any style ( sunny side up, over easy...) while the coffee is still served in a real heavy mug?

I am hosting a luncheon for 10-20 ladies and need a good recommendation for a place. We want to meet in NYC and somewhere near Grand Central would be the best for those coming from out of state. We don't want to spend an arm and a leg either. Thoughts on a good place??

This is the place where the four friends hung out for meals. Is it boring in person, or just as active?

I'm visiting soon and would like to know some good cheap eats on the west side around 77th street in NYC. Within 3 or 4 blocks would be good. Thanks!

I want to have a birthday party in a restaurant. About 40 people, in Brooklyn NY. The restaurant has to have a dance floor and music. Any idea how much it would be? And how far in advance do i have to order it?

Hello Folks,
No, I don't mean the film, or the song.
The place itself.
My card took a bashing after saying to my wife "to heck with the hotel breakfast, in NY, let us transport ourselves to Tiffanys."
Daft thing to sing after a night of Halloween in Greenwich Village.
(Oh, my birthday treat to myself)
Village ! Or just down the Avenue a bit. The pot of coffee was $20 for a start.
I was told that I was "improperly dressed", and was lent a tie.
Also an enquiry was made as to how I was paying, before even a slice of toast arrived.
Charming hostility..
Oh, we were well behaved, mild-mannered & polite, and offered an AMEX card thing, but the staff were desultory, the eggs & bacon were dodgy to say the least, and I would be banned from this site if I put into simple terms the state of the muffins.

We ended up having a bad time of Tiffanys, twits that they are, and settled for a hot-dog on a street corner for $2 each.
With all the relish & stuff. - Yums !
Any similars ?
Bob.

It's my son's 11th birthday & he's a child that appreciates the fact that he's from a large family. He says these sneakers don't cost a lot. I'd like to be able to provide him with these, they were on his birthday list of things he wants.

Here's what I need...a cake master that can make a cake in different shapes/styles. Maybe even a wedding cake designer will work and I am willing to pay a premium price for it. Any suggestions?
