Hello Folks,
No, I don't mean the film, or the song.
The place itself.
My card took a bashing after saying to my wife "to heck with the hotel breakfast, in NY, let us transport ourselves to Tiffanys."
Daft thing to sing after a night of Halloween in Greenwich Village.
(Oh, my birthday treat to myself)
Village ! Or just down the Avenue a bit. The pot of coffee was $20 for a start.
I was told that I was "improperly dressed", and was lent a tie.
Also an enquiry was made as to how I was paying, before even a slice of toast arrived.
Charming hostility..
Oh, we were well behaved, mild-mannered & polite, and offered an AMEX card thing, but the staff were desultory, the eggs & bacon were dodgy to say the least, and I would be banned from this site if I put into simple terms the state of the muffins.

We ended up having a bad time of Tiffanys, twits that they are, and settled for a hot-dog on a street corner for $2 each.
With all the relish & stuff. - Yums !
Any similars ?
Bob.

You go to a tourist trap you get what you pay for. Leave "Breakfast at Tiffanys" to the movie and go to the store for jewelry, what it is known for.
If a hotdog does it for you, then you shouldn't be going to expensive places in the first place. You go to NY, expect to pay in traps, and remember unless, you are happy with those dirty dogs, you are going to pay for a pot of coffee anywhere you go. Not a cheap city, we just know where to go and where not to go.

Breakfast At Tiffany's (you're speaking with regard to the music by using deep blue something, suited?) is in all probability approximately people who those days ended their relationship, left lots undone, and have easily not something in simple.
